Get Organised in your Real Estate Career

Real estate is the easiest business in the world to confuse activity and productivity.

It is so easy to be side tracked by other staff members who are not active, and by clients who are ‘tyre kicking’.

Do not be one of those sales people who get to the end of the day and cannot say at least 5 things that they achieved during the day.

ALWAYS start the day with a “To Do” list.  It is a good idea to make your “To Do” list at the end of the day so that you can write down the jobs you did not get completed that day and new jobs for tomorrow whilst they are fresh in your mind.  If you do not do it at the end of the day, make it the first job in the morning.  Making the effort to do this will certainly help you become the successful real estate agent you want to be.

Remember, this is not a “maybe” list.  The list contains jobs that you must do if you want to be a successful real estate salesperson.

Have you ever had a Boxer – the absolute most wonderful dog but as scatterbrained as anything? Couldn’t resist putting this pic in because if you are like a Boxer you will be fiercely loyal but totally disorganised.

Write that To Do List every single day and make it happen!  It really does work and have quite amazing results.

At the end of the day, take some time and review your day then write down what you could have done better.  Work on whatever it is that you list and try and improve your skills each day.
